Reinventing the memory of the city (ENG/FR/NL)
Digital twins: a future for urban heritage restoration?
How can digital twins contribute to the preservation of Brussels’ natural and historical heritage? These virtual replicas of the city offer new opportunities for documenting, modelling and restoring buildings, spaces and landscapes while responding to the challenges of contemporary urbanisation.
This session invites you to discover how these technologies can become tools for the conservation of cities. By combining knowledge from the past with contemporary issues, could digital twins also pave the way for innovative solutions for managing and enhancing our heritage, while helping to design the cities of tomorrow? Join us as we explore these questions and imagine how these technologies, by connecting past, present and future, will shape our relationship with urban change.
