Philosophising with children (in a digital world)
Why is there war? What is time? Why do we die?
Children ask a lot of questions. How do you answer difficult questions without avoiding them? During this session, you’ll discover how to talk to children about difficult and sensitive topics. Philosopher and researcher at Odisee University College, Eef Cornelissen, will guide you on how to create space for child-friendly conversations about big themes such as grief, fear, loss and injustice.
Digisaurus will also be talking to Eef about screen time and digital media. After all, children today encounter many difficult topics via screens: news reports, videos, social media and games.
An inspiring talk and dialogue about listening, slowing down and thinking together – both offline and online.
