ELECTIONS ANALYSIS
Brussels Academy and RAB-BKO invite you to a conference-debate with Emile van Haute, political scientist at CEVIPOL (ULB), on 16 October.
This will be an opportunity to decipher the political stakes of these election results for each of the 19 communes that make up the Region.
Brussels is a social laboratory for inclusive urban commons. Come and discover the CALICO and MAXIMA projects in Forest on 27/09/2024 from 12.30 to 17.30!
The visits are open to anyone wishing to be inspired by the urban commons and the Community Land Trust model.
Sharpen your brain in the afternoon with hot topics and a hot bowl of soup. Engaging speakers dissect topical issues with a Brussels angle. Difficult issues are explained in a more accessible way. Afterwards, there is time for questions and reflections from the audience. Food for body and soul, every first Tuesday of the month!
‘Tussen de Soep en de Feiten’ responds to current events. This is why speakers are only announced several weeks in advance. Keep an eye on our communication channels and already book your lunch breaks at Muntpunt on Tuesdays 06.02, 05.03, 16.04, 07.05 and 04.06.
During this open discussion evening, organized in association with the Opera of la Monnaie, researchers, musicians and representatives of cultural institutions consider the role music and culture play in forming our identities.
This evening will be the closing event of the festival ‘Raising Voices’.
Raising Voices Festival
The power of music, diversity and togetherness: from 17 to 22 October, La Monnaie celebrates The Time of Our Singing with a long weekend full of concerts, performances, lectures, workshops, tours and events in the heart of Brussels.
HOPE NEEDS ACTION
Ecopolis is the perfect annual day to meet people who care about a sustainable future. Because ecological challenges knows no national or linguistic borders, Ecopolis is diverse, international and interactive.
Ecopolis invites Belgian and international authors to debate the transition towards a socio-ecological society. Inspiring books, documentaries and debates between writers, academics and civil society thinkers about ecology, economy and society are at the heart of Ecopolis.
