A day of conversation, discovery and imagination centred on public space.

Saturday 31 October, Muntpunt and Muntplein, Brussels. Free.

Democracy isn’t just shaped in parliaments and polling booths. In squares, parks and simply on the streets, too, we determine how we live together. But who actually owns that space? Who decides what is possible and permissible? And how much say do we ourselves have in the matter?

On Saturday 31 October 2026, we’ll be turning Muntpunt and Muntplein in Brussels into a space for meeting, conversation and imagination for a whole day.

You can choose from duo conversations, city walks, a workshop, theatre and music, and put together your own programme.

Everything is free, so feel free to come along for just one event or stay for the whole day!
