Mobility session
Electric mobility and urban realities in Brussels: challenges and perspectives.
Global cities in the world are facing major challenges, including the climate and the ecological transition. In order to respond to these challenges, a number of urban, political, associative and economic actors are placing the issue of urban mobility at the heart of the transition process. Brussels, a major European metropolis, is part of those processes. Today, the cleanest, most sustainable and most equitable transport options are mobilizing Brussels’ urban actors. However, these discourses are reflected in a diversity of actions and projects ranging from soft mobility, such as walking and cycling, to public transport and individual electric mobility.
On 24 March, experts, scientists, industrial actors and associations will analyse and discuss the place and challenges of the electric car in a Brussels urban project in transition.
