Jacobs

Dirk Jacobs (°1971) is a full professor of sociology at the Free University of Brussels. He is affiliated with the Research Group on Ethnic Relations, Migration, and Equality (GERME) at the Institute of Sociology.

He specializes in the study of migration and integration policies as well as sociology of education. He participated as a sociologist in charge of the citizen science project CurieuzenAir on air quality in Brussels.

He is the President of the Brussels Studies Institute (BSI).
