#1. BRUSSELERS make THE CITY : History

Three lunch talks where Pepijn Kennis (guest professor VUB, ex-Toestand and Agora.Brussels) engages with a range of experts and practitioners about citizen initiatives that have shaped (and are shaping) Brussels. From public space and mobility to architecture and air quality – discover how citizens make the city!

• Session 1: We dive into history and explore emblematic citizen initiatives that have shaped Brussels. With Met Marion Alecian (ARAU), Raf Pauly (Bral) en Albert Martens (KULeuven). 
• Session 2: We focus on public space and initiatives like Pool is Cool, Westpark, Free54.
• Session 3: We look at mobility and air quality, discussing initiatives like Heroes for Zero and Critical Mass.
